Law firm scorecard
Outcome, award and timing statistics for every firm in the registry, computed directly from the decisions in this database. Use the condition filter to compare like with like: a docket heavy in SIRVA settlements will always show a higher win rate than one heavy in contested encephalopathy claims, so the headline win rate mostly reflects case mix. The contested win rate column counts only reasoned decisions, where a Special Master actually ruled on entitlement.

How to compare VICP law firms
The Vaccine Act pays petitioners' attorneys' fees and costs separately from any award, win or lose, provided the claim was brought in good faith with a reasonable basis. That funding model produced a small specialist bar: a few dozen firms handle most of the docket, and the largest of them process thousands of Table shoulder and Guillain-Barré claims a year, most resolved by stipulation or government proffer without a hearing.
Because case mix drives everything, this scorecard shows the settled share alongside the win rate and, separately, how a firm fares in reasoned decisions. A firm that takes hard off-Table causation cases will show a lower win rate and a longer median time than one that concentrates on Table claims, and may be the better choice for a hard case. Median award is shown for compensated cases only and is not adjusted for injury severity.
