Regan Lewis v. HHS - HPV, injuries and ultimately died (2023)

Patrick and Connie Lewis filed a petition on behalf of their child, Regan Lewis, alleging that Regan suffered injuries and died after receiving human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccinations on March 22, 2022, May 31, 2022, and September 26, 2022. The petition was filed on September 22, 2023.

Because a decision had not been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), a notice was issued advising the petitioners of their options. On September 20, 2023, the petitioners elected to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted the withdrawal request, concluding the proceedings on the merits. No judgment on the merits was entered.
