Matthew David Krehbiel v. HHS - Influenza, cardiac arrhythmia that resulted in his death (2025)

Matthew David Krehbiel allegedly received an influenza vaccine on November 18, 2022, and subsequently experienced cardiac arrhythmia that resulted in his death. His estate, represented by Jane-Alexandra Krehbiel, filed a petition for compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program on July 30, 2025.

The respondent, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, had not yet filed a Rule 4(c) Report. The petitioner subsequently moved to dismiss the case, which was treated as a voluntary dismissal under Rule 21(a)(1).
