Rebecca Aguilar v. HHS - HPV, other (2024)

Rebecca Aguilar filed a petition for compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program on November 30, 2023, alleging injuries from human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccinations received on February 22, 2022, and May 3, 2022. Because a decision had not been issued within the statutorily allowed time, the petitioner was notified of her option to withdraw the petition or have it remain before the special master.

On August 26, 2024, Ms. Aguilar elected to withdraw her petition.

The Chief Special Master granted her request, and the proceedings on the merits were concluded, with no judgment to be entered. The case was therefore dismissed upon the petitioner's withdrawal.
