Kate Borizov filed a petition on behalf of her minor child, S.B., alleging injuries from human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccinations received on October 30, 2019, and November 2, 2020. The petition was filed on July 26, 2023.

Because no decision on the merits had been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), the petitioner was notified of her options to either withdraw the petition or have it remain before the special master. On July 22, 2024, the petitioner elected to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted this request, concluding the proceedings. No judgment on the merits was entered.
