Lynne Guzman v. HHS - HPV, died after receiving a human papillomavirus vaccination (2023)

Lynne Guzman filed a petition on behalf of her minor child, S.F., alleging that S.F. suffered injuries and ultimately died after receiving a human papillomavirus vaccination on December 12, 2018. The petition was filed on November 7, 2022.

Because a decision had not been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), a notice was issued advising the petitioner of her options. On August 2, 2023, Petitioner timely filed a notice to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted the request to withdraw the petition, concluding the proceedings. No judgment on the merits was entered.
