W.L. v. HHS - HPV, other (2023)

Zi Jue Xu and Chun Gang Li filed a petition on behalf of their minor child, W.L., alleging injuries following human papillomavirus vaccinations on December 18, 2019, and June 21, 2020. The petition was filed on September 6, 2022.

Because a decision had not been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), a notice was issued advising the petitioners of their options. On May 8, 2023, the petitioners elected to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted the withdrawal request and ordered that proceedings on the merits were concluded, but no judgment on the merits should be entered. Therefore, the case was dismissed.
