L.M. v. HHS - HPV, other (2023)

Jerry and Deborah Melvin filed a petition on behalf of their minor child, L.M., alleging injuries following HPV vaccinations received on August 12, 2019, and March 9, 2020. The petition was filed on September 2, 2022.

Because no decision had been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), a notice was issued. Petitioners then elected to withdraw the petition pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 300aa—21(b).

The Chief Special Master granted the withdrawal request, concluding the proceedings. No judgment on the merits was entered.
