M.D. v. HHS - HPV, other (2023)

Eric and Chris Daniel filed a petition on behalf of their minor child, M.D., alleging injury after an HPV vaccination on November 27, 2020. The petition was filed with the Court of Federal Claims on December 21, 2022.

Because no decision on the merits had been issued within the statutory timeframe, the petitioners were given the option to withdraw their petition or have it remain before the special master. On December 20, 2022, the petitioners elected to withdraw the petition.

The court granted their request, concluding the proceedings. No judgment on the merits was entered.
