Sarah Winjum v. HHS - HPV, other (2022)

Sarah Winjum filed a petition on behalf of her minor child, K.C., alleging injuries after receiving an HPV vaccination on October 16, 2019, and a significant worsening of her condition after a second HPV vaccination on October 27, 2020. Because a decision had not been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), a notice was issued advising the petitioner of her options.

On August 24, 2022, Sarah Winjum timely filed a notice to withdraw the petition. The Chief Special Master granted the withdrawal request, and the proceedings on the merits were concluded.
