M.O. v. HHS - HPV, other (2022)

Krista and Robert O’Brien filed a petition on behalf of their minor child, M.O., alleging injury after an HPV vaccination on August 28, 2018. The petition was filed on April 11, 2021.

Because no decision had been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), the petitioners were notified that they could withdraw the petition or have it remain before the special master. On April 10, 2022, the petitioners elected to withdraw the petition.

Chief Special Master Corcoran granted their request and ordered that proceedings on the merits were concluded, but no judgment on the merits should be entered.
