M.C. v. HHS - HPV, other (2021)

Courtney and Christopher Counts filed a petition on behalf of their minor child, M.C., alleging injury after an HPV vaccination on June 21, 2017. The petition was filed with the Court of Federal Claims on August 23, 2021.

Because no decision had been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), the petitioners were notified that they could withdraw the petition or have it remain before the special master. On August 20, 2021, the petitioners elected to withdraw their petition.

The Chief Special Master granted their request, and the proceedings on the merits were concluded. No judgment was entered.
