C.Z. v. HHS - HPV, other (2021)

Jennifer and Chad Zimmerman filed a petition on behalf of their minor child, C.Z., alleging injuries after receiving two human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccinations on October 11, 2019, and December 12, 2019. The petition was filed on November 12, 2020.

Because a decision had not been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), the petitioners were notified that they could withdraw the petition or have it remain before the special master. On July 13, 2021, the petitioners elected to withdraw their petition.

The Chief Special Master granted their request, concluding proceedings on the merits. No judgment on the merits was entered.
