Audrey Sloan v. HHS - HPV, primary ovarian insufficiency/infertility (2020)

Audrey Sloan filed a petition alleging that she developed primary ovarian insufficiency and infertility as a result of the human papilloma virus (HPV) vaccines she received on January 16, March 19, and August 30, 2007. The petition was filed on April 8, 2019.

After an initial status conference, the Special Master provided guidance and set a deadline for a status report. Petitioner filed a document titled 'statement of completion' and later a motion for an extension of time due to family issues and lack of legal support.

The Special Master denied the extension request for medical records, as there was no outstanding deadline for them, and instead set a deadline for a status report. Petitioner repeatedly failed to meet court-ordered deadlines for filing status reports, responses to motions, and providing required documentation.

Despite multiple show cause orders and warnings that failure to prosecute would result in dismissal, Petitioner did not comply. Consequently, the Special Master dismissed the case for failure to prosecute on May 28, 2020.
