Christina N. Steinat v. HHS - Influenza, brachial neuritis (2014)

Christina N. Steinat filed a petition on April 24, 2013, alleging that she suffered brachial neuritis as a result of receiving an influenza vaccination.

Respondent denied that the vaccination caused her injury. However, both parties agreed to settle the case.

They stipulated that a decision should be entered awarding Petitioner compensation. The stipulation awarded a lump sum of $100,000.00 for all damages and an additional $16,761.49 for attorneys' fees and costs.

The Special Master found the stipulation reasonable and adopted it as the decision of the Court, awarding the requested amounts.
