VICP Registry is a searchable public index of U.S. Court of Federal Claims Vaccine Injury Compensation Program decisions. It includes curated case metadata, summaries, source-document links, downloaded PDFs when available, and extracted public text from court documents.

## MCP Server (live tool access for AI assistants)

This registry runs a free, no-auth Model Context Protocol server at
https://vicp-registry.org/mcp (Streamable HTTP transport). AI assistants and
agents can query the full case database live: structured case search,
per-case detail and full court-document text, compensation statistics,
attorney and special-master track records. ChatGPT deep-research compatible

## Statistics & Research Findings

The /stats subsite contains data-driven analyses of the VICP corpus. Each page is server-rendered HTML with inline charts (Chart.js); all underlying numbers are live from the database.

## Crawler Guidance

Case pages are canonical human-readable pages. Plain-text `.txt` case routes are intended for AI systems and search engines that need extractable source text without running JavaScript. PDF links are included where the registry has downloaded public court PDFs or where a public source URL is available. Private traffic analytics routes under `/_private/` and `/api/_private/` should not be crawled.

## Data Caveat

Case summaries are AI-assisted and can contain mistakes. Source PDFs and source text should be checked for legal or medical precision. Statistics on /stats/* are descriptive of the case-record dataset, not vaccine-safety claims about the general population.
