James Lambertson v. HHS - Influenza, shoulder injury related to vaccine administration (SIRVA) (2026)

James Lambertson filed a petition for compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program on October 16, 2025. He alleged that he suffered from a shoulder injury related to vaccine administration (SIRVA) as a result of receiving an influenza vaccination on September 30, 2024.

Mr. Lambertson further alleged that he suffered residual effects of his injury for more than six months.

Respondent conceded that Petitioner's alleged injury is consistent with SIRVA as defined by the Vaccine Injury Table and that Petitioner has satisfied all legal prerequisites for compensation. Based on the Respondent's concession and the evidence of record, the Chief Special Master found that Petitioner is entitled to compensation.

The case was proceeding to determine damages.
