Michael Krause v. HHS - Influenza, shoulder injury related to vaccine administration (SIRVA) (2026)

Michael Krause filed a petition for compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, alleging that he suffered a Table shoulder injury related to vaccine administration (SIRVA) as a result of an influenza vaccination received on November 3, 2023. He further alleged that he suffered residual effects of his injury for more than six months.

Respondent conceded that Petitioner is entitled to compensation, stating that his alleged injury is consistent with SIRVA as defined by the Vaccine Injury Table. Respondent agreed that Petitioner suffered residual effects for more than six months and satisfied all legal prerequisites for compensation.

Chief Special Master Corcoran found that Petitioner is entitled to compensation.
