Terri Haught v. HHS - Influenza, shoulder injury related to vaccine administration (SIRVA) (2026)

Terri Haught filed a petition for compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, alleging she suffered a shoulder injury related to vaccine administration (SIRVA) as a result of an influenza vaccine she received on November 6, 2023. She also received a COVID-19 vaccine on the same day.

Petitioner alleged that she suffered residual effects of her injury for more than six months. Respondent denied that the flu vaccine caused a SIRVA Table injury, denied causation-in-fact, and denied any other injury.

Despite these denials, the parties filed a joint stipulation for compensation. The court found the stipulation reasonable and adopted it as its decision.

Terri Haught was awarded a lump sum of $25,000.00 for all items of damages.
