Emily Cafarella filed a petition for compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program on October 25, 2024, alleging injury after receiving a human papillomavirus vaccination on January 28, 2021. Because a decision had not been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), a notice was issued to the petitioner.

On October 23, 2024, Emily Cafarella elected to withdraw her petition. The Chief Special Master granted her request to withdraw the petition.

Accordingly, proceedings on the merits of this petition are concluded, but no judgment on the merits should be entered.
