Meridith Juliano v. HHS - HPV, other (2024)

Meridith Juliano filed a petition on behalf of her minor child, M.J., alleging that M.J. suffered injuries after receiving a human papillomavirus vaccination on January 5, 2021. The petition was filed on January 4, 2024.

Because no decision on the merits had been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), the petitioner was notified of her options. On September 3, 2024, Petitioner Meridith Juliano elected to withdraw the petition pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 300aa—21(b).

The Chief Special Master granted the request to withdraw, concluding the proceedings. No judgment on the merits was entered.
