Tracie Powers filed a petition on behalf of her minor child, N.S., alleging that N.S. suffered injuries and died after receiving the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine on November 14, 2019, and June 22, 2021. The petition was filed on August 30, 2024.

Because a decision had not been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), a notice was issued advising the petitioner of her options. On August 26, 2024, Tracie Powers timely filed a notice to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted the request to withdraw, concluding the proceedings. No judgment on the merits was entered.
