Alyson Fincke filed a petition for compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program on November 28, 2023, alleging injuries after receiving a human papillomavirus vaccination on May 5, 2021, July 20, 2021, and November 24, 2021. Because a decision had not been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), a notice was issued.

On July 25, 2024, Petitioner timely filed a notice to withdraw the petition. The Chief Special Master granted the withdrawal request, concluding the proceedings on the merits.
