E.S. v. HHS - HPV, other (2024)

Chris and Kirsten Strickland, on behalf of their minor child E.S., filed a petition for compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program on November 21, 2023. They alleged that E.S. suffered injuries after receiving a human papillomavirus vaccination on November 21, 2022.

Because a decision had not been issued within the statutory time frame, the petitioners were notified that they could withdraw the petition or allow it to remain before the special master. On July 18, 2024, the petitioners elected to withdraw the petition.

Their request to withdraw was granted, and the proceedings on the merits were concluded. No judgment on the merits was entered.
