Denise Bernhang v. HHS - HPV, other (2024)

Denise Bernhang filed a petition on behalf of her minor child, B.B., alleging injuries after receiving human papillomavirus vaccinations on August 8, 2019, and May 15, 2020. The petition was filed on January 4, 2024.

Because a decision had not been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), the petitioner was notified that she could withdraw the petition or have it remain before the special master. On January 2, 2024, Denise Bernhang elected to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted the request to withdraw, concluding the proceedings. No judgment on the merits was entered.
