Charlie Booth v. HHS - Influenza, Shoulder Injury Related to Vaccine Administration (SIRVA) (2026)

Charlie Booth filed a petition for compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, alleging he suffered a Table shoulder injury related to vaccine administration (SIRVA) as a result of an influenza vaccination received on December 6, 2021. Respondent denied that petitioner sustained a SIRVA Table injury or that the flu vaccine caused his alleged shoulder injury.

The parties subsequently filed a joint stipulation agreeing that a decision should be entered awarding compensation. Chief Special Master Corcoran adopted the stipulation as the decision awarding damages.

Charlie Booth was awarded a lump sum of $100,536.38, representing compensation for all items of damages available under Section 15(a). The decision was issued on May 20, 2026, following the petition filed on April 10, 2023.
