Amy Blood v. HHS - HPV, other (2023)

Amy Blood filed a petition on behalf of her minor child, S.B., alleging that S.B. suffered injuries after receiving a human papillomavirus vaccination on February 8, 2020. The petition was filed on January 23, 2023.

Because no decision had been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), a notice was issued informing the parties of the option to withdraw the petition or have it remain before the special master. On September 20, 2023, Petitioner elected to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted the withdrawal request, and the proceedings on the merits were concluded. No judgment on the merits was entered.
