A.L. v. HHS - HPV, other (2023)

Gonzalo and Rosalia Lopez, parents of A.L., filed a petition for compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program on December 28, 2022. They alleged that their minor child, A.L., suffered injuries after receiving two human papillomavirus vaccinations on November 13, 2020, and May 13, 2021.

Because a decision had not been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), a notice was issued. On August 29, 2023, the petitioners timely filed a notice to withdraw the petition.

The court granted their request to withdraw, and proceedings on the merits of the petition were concluded. No judgment on the merits was entered.
