Sue Cardona v. HHS - HPV, other (2023)

Sue Cardona filed a petition on behalf of her minor child, T.C., alleging that T.C. suffered injuries after receiving a human papillomavirus vaccination on February 26, 2021. The petition was filed on November 10, 2022.

Because a decision had not been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), a notice was issued advising that the petitioner could withdraw the petition or have it remain before the special master. On July 14, 2023, Petitioner Cardona filed a notice to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted the request to withdraw the petition, and the proceedings on the merits were concluded. No judgment on the merits was entered.
