Kristin Thompson v. HHS - HPV, other (2023)

Kristin Thompson filed a petition on behalf of her minor child, K.T., alleging that K.T. suffered injuries after receiving a human papillomavirus vaccination on July 17, 2020. The petition was filed on November 9, 2022.

Because a decision had not been issued within the statutorily allowed time, the petitioner was notified that she could withdraw the petition or have it remain before the special master. On July 7, 2023, Petitioner elected to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted the withdrawal request, concluding the proceedings on the merits. No judgment on the merits was entered.
