S.R. v. HHS - HPV, other (2023)

Heather and Philip Rafle filed a petition on behalf of their minor child, S.R., alleging injury following a human papillomavirus vaccination on July 10, 2020. The petition was filed on September 14, 2022.

Because no decision had been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), the petitioners were notified that they could withdraw the petition or allow it to remain before the special master. On May 12, 2023, the petitioners elected to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted their request, and this order concluded the proceedings. No judgment on the merits was entered.
