A.M. v. HHS - HPV, other (2023)

Dalia and Jeffrey McCarter filed a petition on behalf of their minor child, A.M., alleging injury after receiving a human papillomavirus vaccination on October 2, 2020. The petition was filed on September 2, 2022.

Because a decision had not been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), a notice was issued. On May 3, 2023, the Petitioners filed a notice to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted the request to withdraw the petition, concluding the proceedings. No judgment on the merits was entered.
