C.P. v. HHS - HPV, other (2023)

Robert Peacock and Therese Wehby, on behalf of their minor child C.P., filed a petition for compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program on August 29, 2022. They alleged that C.P. suffered injuries after receiving a human papillomavirus vaccination on November 27, 2019.

Because a decision had not been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), a notice was issued advising that the petitioners could withdraw the petition or have it remain before the special master. On April 28, 2023, the petitioners timely filed a notice to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted their request to withdraw the petition and ordered that proceedings on the merits of the petition were concluded. No judgment on the merits was entered.
