Emily Cafarella v. HHS - HPV, other (2023)

Emily Cafarella filed a petition for compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Program on December 21, 2022, alleging injuries after receiving a human papillomavirus vaccination on May 29, 2019. Because a decision had not been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), a notice was issued advising the petitioner of her options.

On December 20, 2022, Ms. Cafarella timely filed a notice to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted her request to withdraw the petition and ordered that proceedings on the merits of the petition were concluded. No judgment on the merits was entered.
