Tamara Defonzo v. HHS - HPV, other (2022)

Tamara Defonzo filed a petition on behalf of her minor child, C.S., alleging injuries from a human papillomavirus vaccination received on January 28, 2019. The petition was filed with the Court of Federal Claims on September 26, 2022.

Because no decision on the merits had been issued within the statutory timeframe, the petitioner was given the option to withdraw the petition or have it remain before the special master. On September 23, 2022, the petitioner elected to withdraw the petition.
