Anna Reeves v. HHS - HPV, other (2022)

Anna Reeves filed a petition on behalf of her minor child, L.R., alleging injuries after receiving a human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination on June 19, 2019, and that these injuries worsened after a second HPV vaccination on June 18, 2020. The petition was filed on August 19, 2021.

Because a decision had not been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), a notice was issued advising the petitioner of her options. On August 18, 2022, Anna Reeves elected to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted this request, concluding the proceedings on the merits. No judgment on the merits was entered.
