C.B. v. HHS - HPV, other (2022)

Thomas and Danielle Blinstrubas filed a petition on behalf of their minor child, C.B., alleging injury after receiving a human papillomavirus vaccination on January 28, 2019. The petition was filed on December 16, 2021.

Because no decision had been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), the petitioners were notified that they could withdraw the petition or have it remain before the special master. On August 22, 2022, the petitioners elected to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted their request, and the proceedings on the merits were concluded. No judgment was entered.
