Suzanne Tanner v. HHS - HPV, other (2022)

Suzanne Tanner filed a petition on behalf of her minor child, L.T., alleging injury from a human papillomavirus vaccination received on November 21, 2018. The petition was filed on December 8, 2021.

Because no decision on the merits had been issued within the statutory timeframe, the petitioner was given the option to withdraw the petition or have it remain before the special master. On August 11, 2022, the petitioner elected to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted this request and ordered the conclusion of proceedings, noting that no judgment on the merits should be entered. The case was therefore dismissed upon withdrawal.
