Lori Wilson v. HHS - HPV, other (2022)

Lori Wilson filed a petition on April 21, 2022, on behalf of her minor child, A.W., alleging injury following a human papillomavirus vaccination on July 10, 2018. The petition was initially filed on August 19, 2021.

Because no decision had been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), the petitioner was notified of the option to withdraw the petition or have it remain before the special master. On April 19, 2022, Lori Wilson elected to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted the withdrawal request and ordered that proceedings on the merits of the petition were concluded. No judgment on the merits was entered.
