Michelle Foster v. HHS - HPV, other (2022)

Michelle Foster filed a petition on behalf of her minor child, H.F., alleging injury after receiving a human papillomavirus vaccination on August 9, 2018. The petition was filed on July 26, 2021.

Because a decision had not been issued within the statutory timeframe, the petitioner was notified of the option to withdraw the petition. On April 3, 2022, Michelle Foster elected to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted the withdrawal request and ordered that proceedings on the merits of the petition be concluded. No judgment on the merits was entered.
