Rameen Rizi v. HHS - HPV, other (2022)

Rameen Rizi filed a petition for compensation on July 6, 2021, alleging injury after receiving a human papillomavirus vaccination on June 15, 2018. Because no decision had been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), a notice was issued informing the petitioner of their options to either withdraw the petition or have it remain before the special master.

On April 5, 2022, Rameen Rizi elected to withdraw the petition. The Chief Special Master granted the withdrawal request and ordered the conclusion of proceedings, noting that no judgment on the merits should be entered.
