Terra Figueiredo v. HHS - Tdap, shoulder injury related to vaccine administration (SIRVA) (2022)

Terra Figueiredo filed a petition for compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program on January 5, 2021, alleging she suffered a shoulder injury related to vaccine administration (SIRVA) after receiving a Tdap vaccine on November 10, 2019. On September 1, 2022, Respondent filed a proffer on award of compensation, proposing an award of $81,193.04, consisting of $80,000.00 for pain and suffering and $1,193.04 for past unreimbursable expenses. Petitioner, a competent adult, agreed with the proffered award.

The Chief Special Master issued a decision awarding Petitioner the lump sum of $81,193.04 on October 3, 2022.
