Stacy Welch v. HHS - HPV, other (2021)

Stacy Welch filed a petition on behalf of her minor child, J.W., alleging injury from a human papillomavirus vaccination received on July 22, 2019. The petition was filed on October 4, 2021.

Because no decision had been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), the petitioner was notified of the option to withdraw the petition. On September 30, 2021, Stacy Welch elected to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted the withdrawal request, concluding proceedings on the merits. No judgment on the merits was entered.
