J.M. v. HHS - HPV, other (2021)

Jim and Linda McTighe filed a petition on behalf of their minor child, J.M., alleging injury after receiving a human papillomavirus vaccination on June 8, 2017. The petition was filed with the Court of Federal Claims on September 9, 2021.

Because no decision had been issued within the time specified by Vaccine Rule 10(b), the petitioners were notified that they could withdraw the petition or have it remain before the special master. On July 1, 2021, the petitioners elected to withdraw the petition.

The Chief Special Master granted their request, and the proceedings on the merits were concluded. No judgment on the merits was entered.
