Wanda J. Payne v. HHS - Influenza, Wegener’s Granulomatosis (2022)

Wanda J. Payne filed a petition alleging that an influenza vaccine administered on October 11, 2016, caused her to develop Wegener’s Granulomatosis (GPA).

Respondent denied that the flu vaccine caused Petitioner’s GPA or any other injury. Despite denying causation, the parties reached a stipulation for compensation.

The stipulation recommended an award of $85,000.00 to Petitioner for all damages. The Special Master found the stipulation reasonable and adopted it as the decision of the Court.

Judgment was entered in accordance with the stipulation.
