Gerardo Cabello v. HHS - Influenza, left sensorineural hearing loss (2018)

Gerardo Cabello filed a petition alleging he developed left sensorineural hearing loss as a result of receiving an influenza vaccination on October 3, 2016. The parties later filed a joint stipulation of dismissal, leading to an order concluding the proceedings.

Following this, Mr. Cabello filed a motion for attorneys' fees and costs, requesting $9,094.00 for fees and $3,104.18 for costs.

Respondent did not contest the statutory requirements for an award. The Special Master found the request reasonable and awarded the total amount of $12,198.18, to be paid jointly to Mr.

Cabello and his counsel.
