Robert Stockdale v. HHS - Influenza, peripheral neuropathy (2019)

Robert Stockdale filed a petition on March 7, 2019, alleging that he developed peripheral neuropathy as a result of an influenza vaccination administered on December 11, 2013. Respondent denied that the flu vaccine caused Mr.

Stockdale's alleged peripheral neuropathy or any other injury. Despite the denial, the parties filed a stipulation for an award of compensation on July 16, 2018, which was adopted by the Special Master on July 17, 2018.

Subsequently, on July 22, 2018, Petitioner's counsel filed a Motion for Attorneys' Fees and Costs. Respondent did not object to the statutory requirements for an award of fees and costs.

The Special Master granted the motion, awarding $12,481.82 in attorneys' fees and costs, representing $12,037.00 in fees and $444.82 in costs.
