DECISION AWARDING DAMAGES1 On August 18, 2016, Norman Larsen filed a petition seeking compensation under the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.2 ECF No. 1. Petitioner alleges that he suffered from Guillain-Barré syndrome (“GBS”) as a result of his September 10, 2013 influenza (“flu”) vaccine. Id. at 1. Petitioner further alleges that he has experienced the residual effects of this condition for more than six months. Id. at 7. Based upon my own review of the record, I conclude that the parties’ stipulation (as attached hereto) is reasonable. I therefore adopt it as my decision in awarding damages on the terms set forth therein. The stipulation awards:  A lump sum of $60,000.00, in the form of a check payable to Petitioner. Id. at 2. This amount represents compensation for all damages under Section 15(a) of the Act to which Petitioner is entitled. I approve a Vaccine Program award in the requested amount set forth above to be made to Petitioner.
