Patricia Wilson v. HHS - Influenza, left shoulder injury (2017)

Patricia Wilson filed a petition for compensation on September 20, 2017, alleging injury to her left shoulder as a result of an influenza vaccine received on October 10, 2013. The parties entered into a joint stipulation for compensation, and on August 31, 2017, a decision was issued awarding compensation.

Subsequently, on June 20, 2017, Ms. Wilson filed a motion for attorneys' fees and costs, requesting a total of $8,999.09.

The respondent did not object to the amount sought. The Chief Special Master reviewed the billing records and found the request reasonable, awarding the full amount of $8,999.09, to be paid as a lump sum of $8,658.55 to the petitioner and her counsel, and $340.54 to the petitioner for her costs.
