Edwina Bradshaw v. HHS - Influenza, Guillain-Barré syndrome (“GBS”) (2014)

Edwina Bradshaw received an influenza vaccine on October 6, 2010. She alleged that this vaccine caused her to develop Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) and that she experienced residual effects for more than six months.

Respondent denied that the flu vaccine caused her GBS or any other condition. The parties reached a stipulation to resolve the case.

The court awarded Edwina Bradshaw $100,000.00 for all damages. Separately, the parties stipulated to attorneys' fees and costs, and the court awarded $14,322.11.
